God calls us to love one another. Here at First Presbyterian Church, we have a history of caring for the least of these and are in the process of imagining how we can love in deeper and broader ways than we already do.
We believe that mission is done in partnership and alongside those we are serving. Currently, we financially support many local missions, but also participate in hands-on missions:
• Monthly Community Dinner: On the second Sunday of the month, any and all are invited to join us at the church for a home-cooked meal. We welcome you to come eat or serve, or hopefully, both.
• Mobile Food Pantry: We partner with Chopin Hall a number of times throughout the year to distribute food to those who need it. See our calendar for upcoming dates.
• World Mission: We currently work with two mission partnerships — one in Peru and one in Madagascar.
